Alcohol
The use of alcohol should be limited or avoided while using acitretin.

Precautions
Patients who are allergic to acitretin or any of its components should consult the doctor before taking it. If taking any vitamins, nutritional supplements, and herbal products are taken then consult the doctor before using acitretin. If any sort of swelling is experienced, consult your doctor immediately. Taking acitretin supplements, especially in high doses, might cause congenital disabilities.

How To Use

This medicine is indicated in severe refractory psoriasis (skin disease characterized by marked redness and itchy patches), palmoplantar pustulosis (skin condition involving the palms and soles), and Darier’s disease (skin disorder).
