Primary Uses

This medicine is indicated in bone marrow transplant patients or those who have received cytotoxic therapy to reduce the duration of neutropenia (decreased white blood cells) in them.

Side Effects

Patients using this medicine may at times experience headaches, anorexia (eating disorder), and bone pain. If you experience any of these symptoms for a long period of time, consult your doctor immediately.

Contraindications

This medicine should not be used in patients who have a known hypersensitivity to Filgrastim or filgrastim products.
