Pregnancy
There is no evidence of risk in pregnant females for this medication. However, you should consult your doctor for further advice.

Lactation
This medication is contraindicated in lactating females.

Precautions
Stable chronic (long term  liver dysfunction or impaired renal (kidney) function ,psoriasis (skin disorder that forms bumpy red patches with white scales on skin), lupus erythematous (disease in which there is inflammation in organs all over the body due to the body attacking itself ). Liver function tests should be performed before and during therapy. Treatment with this medication should be discontinued if hepatotoxicity (liver damage caused by exposure to drugs) develops. The use of this medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity (allergy) to this medication as well in patients with active or chronic liver disease, severe renal (kidney) impairment. How long does this medication take to work? This medication usually starts to work within a few days. Can I have coffee while on this medication? Avoid coffee, tea and energy drinks while on this medication Does this medication make your hair fall out? There have been reports of hair loss, however; consult your doctor for further advice. Do the side effects of this medication go away? The side effects of this medication usually go away during treatment.
