Pregnancy
Esomeprazole can be used in pregnancy.

Lactation
Esomeprazole should not be used by breastfeeding mothers. 

Precautions
Make sure to exclude any malignancy prior to starting the treatment and this medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients with severely impaired hepatic (liver) or renal (kidney) functions.

How To Use

Esomeprazole is a prescription medicine used for treating GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease). It is also used for treating esophageal lining damage caused by acid, as well as to avoid ulcers produced by NSAIDs and Helicobacter Pylori bacteria. This medicine belongs to a proton pump inhibitor class of medicines. These act by lowering the amount of stomach acid produced.
