Pregnancy
This medication should not be used in pregnant females.

Lactation
This medication should not be used in lactating females.

Alcohol
Please avoid consuming alcohol when taking this medicine.

Precautions
Patients should inform their doctor of any hypersensitivity(allergy) and complete medical history such as prostate cancer or breast cancer, heart problems , kidney problems , liver problems and diabetes , among many other possible diseases. Children and older adults should also use this medication with caution since it may affect bone growth in children and cause an enlarged prostate in elderly males. Patients with diabetes should consult a doctor immediately if they experience any symptoms of low blood sugar.

Expert Advice

This medication is used in men who do not make enough testosterone (a naturally occurring substance necessary for masculinity and male sexual characteristics). It is also used in certain adolescent boys to cause puberty in those with delayed puberty. It may also be used in women with certain types of breast cancer.

Side Effects

This medication should  not be used in men with cancer of the male breast,hypercalcemia(high level of calcium in blood) , impaired  liver function, stroke , with a clot in the lung , a heart attack , high blood pressure as well as pregnant and lactating females.
