Primary Uses

This medication is used as monotherapy or as an adjunct for the treatment of idiopathic (unknown cause) Parkinson’s disease. It can also be used to treat restless legs syndrome.

Side Effects

Side-effects include gastrointestinal upset, nausea, drowsiness, dizziness, hallucinations, confusion, fatigue, fainting, leg edema, sudden onset of sleep, hypotension (low blood pressure), and abdominal pain.
