Driving
You may drive after taking rifaximin without any harm.

Liver
Liver patients are advised to consult their doctors before taking this medicine as the doctor may advise the dosage and duration according to your condition.

Kidney
Kidney patients should use this medicine with caution, better to consult a doctor before taking this medicine.

Alcohol
Avoid consuming alcohol while using rifaximin.

Precautions

For oral use only.
Do not self-medicate or over-dose yourself.
Make sure to take plenty of fluids while taking rifaximin.

How To Use

Take this medication with or without meals.

Primary Uses

This medicine is indicated in patients (above 12 years age) with diarrhoea. For reduction in risk of overt hepatic encephalopathy recurrence.

Side Effects

The side effects are as follows; bloating, gas, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, depression, headache, rash, muscle spasm, discoloration of urine and arthalgia (pain in the joint).
