Side Effects

This medicine may cause rash, diarrhoea, decreased neutrophils (White blood cells), decreased haemoglobin, eosinophilia (increased eosinophils), or increased transaminases (liver enzymes). Please cosult your doctor if you experience any of these symptoms.

Pregnancy

Cefoperazone should be administered during pregnancy only in case of a definite need. Consult your doctor before taking this medication while pregnant.

Lactation

Cefoperazone is known to be excreted in breast milk in insignificant amounts.  Lactating mothers should consult their doctors before taking this medicine.

Please consult your doctor before taking this medicine if you have Penicillin (antibiotic), Cephalosporins (antibiotic) or Sulbactam (antibiotic) allergy
