Side Effects This medicine may cause headache , GI disturbances (upset stomach), skin eruptions (rashes) , or hair loss., depigmentation, blood disorders, myelosuppression (bone marrow suppression), convulsions (body muscles contract), cardiomyopathy (heart fails to pump blood), retinal damage and corneal changes. Contraindications Patients who have the following conditions should not take this medicine: low blood sugar, G6PD deficiency, low amount of magnesium and potassium in the blood.
