Indications
This vaccine provides immunization (protection) against Hepatitis A virus (known to cause inflammation of Liver).
Side Effects
Use of this vaccine may cause local soreness, erythema (redness) and pain at the injection site, low grade fever and malaise (discomfort), nausea with dizziness (loss of balance) are also some expected side effects.

Caution is advised in the case of pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding) due to possible danger to the baby. Contraindications
This vaccine is to be avoided in case of severe febrile illness (a rapid onset of fever with other symptoms like weakness, chills and muscle pain due to an unknown cause).
