Precautions
This medicine should be cautiously used in patients with liver and kidney impairment. Precautionsshould be taken in patients with epilepsy (abnormal brain activity), history of convulsions (uncontrolledactions of the body), recent myocardial infarction, heart failure, and uncontrolled hypertension. This medicine is contraindicated in patients with severe liver impairment. What are the uses of Memantine? This medication is used for treatment of dementia (confusion) associated with Alzheimer’s disease. It does not cure the disease but helps improve memory and ability to perform daily tasks. How to store Memantine? Please store this medicine at room temperature (18-25 Celsius). Keep medicine away from excessive light, moisture, and children. Please do not flush medicines down the toilet.
