This medicine is contraindicated in lactating mothers.

Precautions
This medicine should be used with caution in patients with porphyria (a liver disorder in which porphyrins buildup in the body, affecting the skin or nervous system). Its use is contraindicated in patients with paralytic ileus (obstruction of the intestine due to the paralysis of the intestinal muscles). What are the uses of Mebeverine? This medication is used to treat bloating (feeling of fullness) and cramps of the lower tummy (abdomen). These symptoms are often associated with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (disorder affecting mostly the large intestine causing discomfort and constipation or diarrhea). How to take Mebeverine? Use it as prescribed by your health care provider. It is best to take it a few minutes before a meal. For further guidance, consult your healthcare provider. How to store Mebeverine? Please store this medicine at room temperature (20-25 Celsius). Keep medicine away from excessive light, moisture, and children. Please do not flush medicines down the toilet.
