Precautions
Patients with a hypersensitivity(allergy ) to this medication or other related medications should be cautioned against the use of this drug.  The patient should also inform their doctor of their complete medical history for more appropriate advice and further details. This medication is contraindicated in patients with diabetes and decreased function of the adrenal gland. It is also contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity (allergy ) to this medication. What should be the amount of application of clobestasol propionate’s ointment? You are advised to apply only a thin film of the cream on the affected region. Is it safe to use bandage over the ointment’s application? No, it is not. Doing so aggravates the side effects of the ointment. How long are we supposed to use the ointment? You are advised to use the ointment for not more than 4 weeks. But if a complete recovery is not observed, consult with your doctor for an alternate ointment. Is it safe to use this medicine for any type of skin condition? No, it is not. Use this medicine only when your physician prescribes you.
