Precautions
Consult your doctor regarding precautions in patients with: Porphyria (blood disorders), liver or kidney problems, and skin diseases such as psoriasis. Eye tests should also be performed before therapy, and during it. Patients who have the following conditions should not take this medicine: low blood sugar, G6PD deficiency, low amount of magnesium and potassium in the blood. Can we take this medicine with our meal? Yes, you can. This is advised by doctors to avoid stomach upset that usually follows using this medicine. Any activity that we should refrain from while using this medicine? Activities requiring focus and concentration, like driving, should be avoided. Is it safe for the use of diabetic patients? Since this medicine has the potential to lower blood sugar level, diabetic patients, if using this medicine are advised to monitor their blood glucose regularly. Is it available over-the-counter?
