Precautions
Patients who are allergic to calcipotriol or any of its components should consult the doctor before taking it. If taking any vitamins, nutritional supplements, and herbal products are taken then consult the doctor before using calcipotriol. If any sort of swelling is experienced, consult your doctor immediately. Taking calcipotriol supplements, especially in high doses, might result in kidney and liver impairment. This medicine should not be used in patients with calcium metabolism disorder, and severely impaired renal (kidney) or hepatic (liver) functions. How long can I use calcipotriol? It should be taken daily for up to four weeks. How long does calcipotriol take to work? It starts showing its effect within a week. What do I do if I forget to take the dose? If you forget to take a dose, it can be taken soon as possible, but if the time of next dose is approaching, skip the missing dose. Does calcipotriol make skin sensitive? The Skin may become more sensitive to sunlight than normal while you are using calcipotriol. Try to avoid sitting out in the sun and do not use sunbeds.
